FLY

Heron is the mascot of the Softball European Championship 2003.
Heron lives in the Lura Natural Park, to which the Cities of Saronno and Caronno Pertusella belong.
It is common also in the Ticino Natural Park and in the Groane Natural Park, which are close to the area of the Championship.

   

FLY is the name of our mascot. The name has been chosen by a contest. Elementary Schools of Saronno and Caronno Pertusella sent their proposals, then the Organizing Committee chose FLY as the official name.

Quale nome avrà la nostra mascotte?
Viene indetto un concorso tra le classi delle scuole elementari e medie di Saronno e Caronno Pertusella. I vincitori saranno premiati durante lo svolgimento dei campionati Europei.
