Moskovia softball team was founded in 1990 and under the direction of Vladimir V. Shemberev from 1995 became a constant participant of the All-Russia and international competitions.
Under direction of Vladimir V. Shemberev and Irina V. Shembereva, Moskovia softball team became one of the most prize-winners of the All-Russia Superiority and the Russian Championships, also participating to international tournaments having passed the way from the debutant team up to the leader team of Russian softball.
Since 1994 till present time Moskovia has been brought up 15 Masters of sports of Russia and 18 Masters of sports of the international class. In September, 2002 Moskovia team represented Russia at ECWCW A gaining the the bronze medal, which led 12 players of the team to get the specification of the Master of sports of the international class.
